Birds and butterflies love visiting the gardens at the Revathi Resorts – you could say they’re part of the family. You can hear the singing of the red-whiskered bulbul and the Malabar whistling thrush most mornings – it’s our favourite thing to wake up to. If you’d like to get to know the birds a little better, we can organize an early-morning bird walk around the resort. Just let us know in advance. The regions are home to over 300 species of birds, many of them rare and once endangered. Accompanied by a naturalist or a local travel guide, we help you explore the multiple varieties of bird species in this region. If you plan to do bird-watching while you’re with us, do not forget to carry your binoculars and cameras to capture some wondrous colours.
